A little about me.
I am Daniel. I am a coach and nonprofit consultant who is guided by connection, harmony, and joy, three things I love to share with other people.
I was born and raised in Delaware. After graduating college from the University of Delaware, I spent over 16 years as a nonprofit leader and fundraising professional. My favorite organizations I have worked for have been those in the arts, as well as those with animal-related missions.
My entire life, I have loved helping others. My journey to become a coach started in 2018 when I was inspired to found The Shine Beyond Co. (TSBC), a venture committed to spreading kindness in the world. What I quickly learned was that so many people want to contribute to a kinder world, but need to connect with what’s within before being able to have a great impact on the world around them.
TSBC really began to take off during the COVID-19 pandemic. And guess what? Right when I could have soared with it, I let fear get the best of me and put the venture aside.
That was until 2022, when I hired a coach for myself. One of the first questions my coach asked me was about when I have been happy professionally. I told him stories about my various jobs, careers I once dreamed of for “when I grow up,” and other paths I’ve considered taking. But, when I talked about my work with TSBC, my passion radiated. It was undeniable, and in that moment, I knew it was time to finally forge the path I let fear keep me from for so long.
My work with my coach changed my relationship with fear and anxiety, two things I have struggled with for my entire life. Fear and anxiety are definitely still a part of my life. But, they don’t control me like they did for the first 38 years of my life.
Fast forward a few short months to 2023 when I relaunched TSBC as The Unstuck Co., a coaching and consulting practice devoted to helping others push things like fear and anxiety to the side so they, too, can get unstuck.
I recently graduated as a certified ontological coach through Accomplishment Coaching (AC), a year-long program with 216 hours of training. A big part of the training was self development work on myself. While I had a lot of coaching experiences through my nonprofit work, AC’s program helped sharpen those skills.
With The Unstuck Co., I am eager to help more clients get unstuck and begin living the lives they want instead of just accepting the path on which they’ve found themselves, and to help nonprofit organizations meet and exceed their goals. If you’re thinking you might want to start your own journey to your next chapter partnered with me as your coach or want to tap into my nonprofit expertise, reach out now. I’m ready when you are!
